Solair AI is a private, offline AI assistant for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. Every prompt, response, and piece of context stays on the device: there are no servers, no accounts, and no analytics. The app is built on Apple's MLX framework and runs 60+ quantized open-source models from Qwen, Llama, Mistral, Gemma 4, DeepSeek, Qwen2.5-Coder, LFM2.5, and others at 60+ tokens per second on supported hardware, with smart automatic model selection based on device RAM. Beyond chat, Solair includes Health Intelligence (15+ Apple HealthKit metrics analyzed locally); News Intelligence (AI-summarized live news from Google News, AP, BBC, and Reuters in 14 languages); Skills, reusable AI presets like Code Reviewer or Email Polisher that users can create, share, or generate from a description; Background Intelligence, an opt-in set of features that use Apple Intelligence to surface morning briefs, weekly health digests, and chat summaries while the app is closed; a LAN Inference Server that turns an iPhone or iPad into an OpenAI- and Ollama-compatible endpoint for tools like Cursor and Open WebUI; a Duress Code that silently wipes data under coercion; and Your Private Space for journaling and emotional support that never leaves the device.
